Truths as 2008 begins
1. I’m turning 31.
2. Something’s about to happen to my career which I can’t really tell people yet.
3. I am in the process — and I’m really hopeful of this process— of getting a laptop.
4. My son is turning 5. My mom, 59. My dad, 56.
5. It’s January and it’s freezing cold outside every day of the week, everywhere I go. And I hate the cold.
6. All my romances are fictional. (i.e. they’re all in my head haha)
7. GMA is being accused of cheating in the ratings. Omigod. I can write a whole thesis, conduct seminars, show real unmanipulated numbers all about this issue, but it really boils down to this: Bribing takes money. Between GMA and ABS, who has more money? Meralco? Maynilad? Hello? Think about it.
8. My current favorite show is 30 Rock.
9. As I write this, the next X-files movie is being shot in Vancouver (Yipee!) and will be shown worldwide on July 2008.
10. I’m still between unfat and unthin.
11. Most of my girlfriends are turning thirty (Yup, I’m older than most of my girlfriends. Just by biological age. They treat me like I’m 12, which I probably am)
12. As long as there are blue skies every morning, I’m good.
