A true friend is someone who is so unbelievably patient that she will listen to your idiotic banter about your latest false passions, she will try to be involved somewhat to said false passions, and finally, give you a blow by blow account of the occurrence of aforementioned passion (it’s a TV show) because you don’t have cable. Pare, da best ka talaga. M&M’s forever!

I’ve been an insomniac for three years, since I had Cojie. I always sleep around 2am no matter how tiring my day is. And the only way I get to sleep is when I have a drink. Thus concludes our lesson on the Foundations of Alcoholism.

Speaking of passions, I remember an X-files episode where this guy says to Fox Mulder "Do you believe that love can change a man?". And the episode was about this alien who saw a baseball game and he absolutely loved the sport that he transformed himself to become human so that he can play baseball.

I have the weirdest passions. They are usually TV shows, movies, books. I watched "From Hell" and got interested in Jack the Ripper and serial killers and read case files online. Harry Potter and Bridget Jones got me interested in British books and films. Michael Moore made me a wannabe Democrat. The Eraserheads made me sit through four hours listening to the radio so I could win their album Cutterpillow (on cassette tape!). When I watched Jose Rizal (GMA Films), I told myself "I’m going to work for GMA someday".

Sometimes passion doesn’t come in the form of a man.
